The proposed guided kayak excursions offer our customers a unique experience to discover the beautiful marine scenery of the Conero Park and to reach the most pristine and wildest beaches of the entire bay of Portonovo.
Walking by sea we will cross bays, caves and pine forests overlooking the sea, you will see the Conero Riviera from an unusual and privileged perspective. We will discover the Trave, a natural pier that shelters the wild beach of Mezzavalle from the storms which is located in the northern part of Monte Conero and we will discover natural views and beauties such as the Vela, the coves at the foot of the mountain, we will take time for some relaxation at the splendid Spiaggia dei Gabbiani and we will discover the Two Sisters, Two twin rocks that emerge from the waters of this crystal clear sea.
Our Services
- Guided sea excursions of different durations suitable for everyone, both for those who have never paddled before and for sportsmen with good paddling skills.
- Equipment of sit on top kayak models equipped with safety lines in addition to the equipment of life jackets.
- Excursions lasting from 1.5h to 3h depending on the route and the level of the participants.
- FICK basic technicians with local knowledge will accompany you on excursions for greater safety, smoother paddling, explanation of the places and the surrounding landscape.
Guided kayak excursions in the Conero Riviera
Paddling when the sea is calm is quite simple and does not require athletic training. The proposed kayak tours include different itineraries to reach a breathtaking point of view from the sea and observe the spectacular landscape that Monte Conero offers. We offer several guided excursions accessible both to those who have never paddled, to whom they come with less physical effort, and to those who have a minimum of athletic preparation and are able to paddle for a longer route. We can also offer ad hoc routes for experienced paddlers.
Safety first; The excursion will always be subject to the approval of the marine weather conditions of the guide. The only fundamental requirement is to know how to swim, be passionate about the sea and respect for nature!

Tour of the Bay (Short)
Our short excursion “GIRO DELLA BAIA” includes a paddle departing from our Conerostyle headquarters in Portonovo to walk by sea and see from an unusual and privileged perspective natural views and beauties such as the Vela, the coves at the foot of the mountain, then dock at the splendid Spiaggia dei Gabbiani enjoying a little relaxation on a natural beach and unspoiled and then leave for the return to the base being able to observe the Two Sisters from afar.
*At the Portonovo headquarters, private lockers are available where you can leave backpacks and personal belongings.
Departure: Conerostyle Center Portonovo
Time slots: 9:00-10:30 or 14:00-15:30 (different times upon evaluation)
Duration: c.ca 1 hour and a half
Recommended personal equipment: Water, hat, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, rock shoes, lycra shirt, gloves for those with sensitive hands, snorkeling mask and the always recommended dry bag.

Tour of the Mount (Long)
The long excursion “GIRO DEL MONTE” allows you to enjoy all the spectacle of the small corner of paradise of our Conero Park seen from the sea.
With this option, we’ll focus on the lower part of the bay; We will start from our headquarters in Portonovo and immediately admire La Torre, a spectacular lookout erected in the early 1700s for the sighting of enemy ships. Paddling through the waters of our beautiful sea we will observe the Church of Santa Maria, then going to discover the Vela, then the caves and the magnificent coves at the foot of the mountain and the splendid and unspoiled beach of the Seagulls, reaching the Two Sisters; Two twin rocks that emerge from the waters of this crystal clear sea, which if seen from the north resemble two nuns placed in prayer.
On request for a private excursion, there is a long excursion to the north side or “DISCOVERY OF THE TRAVE”. We will reach the spectacular rock face that plunges into the sea for about a kilometer, the Trave; a natural pier that shelters the beach of Mezzavalle from the storms where we will dock enjoying this wild beach located in the northern part of Monte Conero. After that the paddling continues in the opposite direction to discover the Sail, approach the coves at the foot of the mountain, then dock at the splendid Spiaggia dei Gabbiani enjoying some relaxation on a natural and unspoiled beach and then leave to return to the base admiring the Two Sisters from afar.
