The practice of windsurfing<\/strong> is the one that boasts a ten-year tradition in the waters of the Conero<\/strong> especially because there are ideal conditions and a considerable number of windy days<\/strong> per year such as to justify the large number of enthusiasts for generations now.
The Portonovo spot<\/strong> is the one in which the Conerostyle School works with winds from E, SE and S<\/strong>. The wind conditions are generally medium\/light in the morning and increase in intensity in the afternoon with the arrival of the legendary “Ostro<\/strong>” in the late afternoon, a constant thermal wind that reaches an average intensity of 25\/30 knots<\/strong>. The afternoon sirocco<\/strong> offers the possibility of sailing with sails from 6.3 to 5.3 and then moving on to very small sails (4.7-4.2) when the Ostro begins to descend from the mountain, guaranteeing the possibility of sailing until late at night<\/strong> in flat water conditions, ideal for freestyle discipline. <\/p>

Having said that, it is not difficult to imagine how windsurfing has been the primary activity of the Conerostyle School<\/strong> for years now with internationally qualified VDWS instructors<\/strong> and proven courses for all levels and all ages.
The Conerostyle School offers all types of courses, equipment rental, testing of new materials, storage and recovery at sea.<\/p>

*Unless otherwise indicated, the costs shown are reserved for members of Conerostyle SSD a.r.l. or members of nautical and sailing sports federations. For those who do not fall into these categories, the current VAT (currently 22%) will be applied to the prices indicated.

The teaching techniques developed by the VDWS allow you to progress quickly to such a level that already after the first hours of the course you can already have fun alone with the wind and windsurfing. The material is specifically designed for learning, making it enjoyable and without excessive effort.
Participation in the courses automatically includes membership and insurance coverage, the use of the board and the complete RIG, wetsuit, life jacket, harness. We have equipment specially designed for children (minimum 5 years old).
Courses for WINDSURFING<\/strong> activities are available at Conerostyle’s operational offices along the coast.
